Many of our winter sports have wrapped up regular season play and are getting ready for postseason action. Recapping last weeks action. Girls Basketball went 1-1 on the weekend but big news came with Kensington Black setting the single game points scored record. She scored 40 points in a 59-22 victory of Fairborn. The girls lost a nail biter to Wilmington on Saturday 47-46. The girls will be back in action 2/21 against Clinton Massie in round 1 of the tournament that game will be played at Loveland HS. Boys basketball defeated Dixie and fell to Oakwood. They are the 8 seed in the tournament and will play Dunbar on 2/28 at Trotwood HS. The wrestlers had their last time dual of the season falling to Northmont 38-34. Swim finished up their season, Trent Lewis qualified as an alternate to districts. Winter Guard had another competition championship at Bellbrook. Our cheerleaders performed well but came up just short of making the final round at nationals.
